: How to glaze a fully cooked Country or Smithfield Ham?
Answers to your questions
 | Determine the kind of ham - if your Padow's ham arrived in an amber wrapper (not in a cloth bag) then it is our Country or Smithfield Ham, fully cooked and needs no further cooking - Best served at room temperature.
To Apply Glaze - Ham will need to be warmed. To warm ham - Leave wrapped ham out overnight and let it get to room temperature. Unwrap ham and score fat side up and place in roasting pan. Cover with foil and heat ham in 250° oven for 30 to 45 minutes until warm. Take ham from oven and remove foil.
To prepare Glaze - Empty contents of packet in saucepan and add 1/2 tablespoon of water. Bring to boil over medium heat while stirring. Do not overcook.
To Glaze ham - Using a pastry brush, apply glaze to ham. Place uncovered ham back in 300° oven - heat for 10 minutes. Remove ham and serve.
Enjoy! Sidney Padow
